Meine Forschung

konzentriert sich in erster Linie auf die zugrundeliegenden Mechanismen von visueller Wahrnehmung und höheren kognitiven Funktionen bei Gesundheit, Alterung und Krankheit. Zu diesem Zweck verwende ich eine Vielzahl von Techniken, darunter modernste Bildgebungsverfahren, Verhaltensaufgaben und Computermodelle, um die funktionelle und strukturelle Architektur des menschlichen Gehirns, insbesondere der medialen Temporallappenregionen, bis ins kleinste Detail zu erforschen.
