I investigate seizure patterns and brain dynamics using intracranial EEG (iEEG) data from focal epilepsy patients. I have identified reproducible features across seizures for the same patient that distinguish epileptogenic zones from propagation zones, supporting the localization of epileptogenic zones. Moreover, I explore neural mechanisms of emotional image encoding and recognition with iEEG and cortico-cortical evoked potential (CCEP) data from epilepsy patients. I apply deep neural networks (DNN) and representational similarity analysis (RSA) to characterize neural activity patterns underlying emotional memory.
